Unlike standard solutions foringress detection and monitoring, Safecom's patent-pending technologyeliminates 70-90% of the ingress noise by addressing the source of the problemwhere most ingress noise is created - at the customer premises.
How it work?
Safeom's patent-pending technologyis based on the burst nature of the return path and the random presence ofingress noise. The technology functions as a upstream gateway that allowscarrier signals from customer premises into the network only when the homedevices are actively transmitting. This mode of operation eliminates most ofthe ingress noise without any adverse effect on the upstream and downstreamsignals.
